A JOURNEY, A LONG JOURNEY 

A journey, a long journey… 
eight years we have toiled together, 
with laughter at times, and tears of desperation. 
 Taking steps so light, and struggles so big, 
these linking together in a chain of prayers. 

A journey, a long journey… 
from tiny steps… to giant leaps, 
from just a few…. to so many. 
Markings of His love, so undeniable, 
doing things too big for mortals to comprehend. 

A journey, a long journey… 
stretching before us to complete. 
Awaiting hearts willingly serving, 
awaiting hands readily reaching out, 
awaiting legs boldly exploring. 
Awaiting mouths fluently speaking, 
awaiting knees humbly kneeling, 
awaiting tears happily shed winning a soul. 

A journey, a long journey… 
Never forget the Lord’s mercy, 
Never forget His loving hand. 
Never forget His gracefulness, 
always being there in each stretch of the journey, 
and always will be there for us. 

A journey, a long journey… 
bearing witness of His care abundant. 
To Him be all praise, 
He… to whom our Parousia belongs.
