Reflection of Gratitude at Year's End

I remember when
I knelt down at the beginning of 2011
fill with apprehension for
what may lie ahead in life's stretch
of unchartered road
without certainy

Today, in the hindsight on the eve of 2011
I recollect my kaleidoscope of all those hings
Good and bad
Tears and laughter, burden and hope, thorns and flowers
Thou have allowed me to o through
and thereby making me stronger and whole

And now, at the close of 2011
I kneel down before Thee
my eyes filed with tears of gratitude
Thank You, my Lord
for beig there for me
always keeping me in good hands
